The exterior of a facility or building is something entirely different, as it needs to protect from the elements as well as looking fresh and vibrant. Some factors that need to be taken into consideration are:

  • The quality of paint used

Sometimes we forget about the exterior because we’re not constantly looking at it from a close distance. If you do notice any cracks, peeling or exposed wood this is a sign that it should be painted immediately, and leaving it any longer is not recommended.

  • Painted timber can last up to 10 years
  • Stained or clear finished timber every 2-5 years
  • Painted weatherboards can last up to 15 years
